Bart Stump is a Managing Principal on the Threat Discovery Services team at Coalfire with over 19 years of experience. He specializes in identifying defensive gaps through threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, and security tool gap analysis to implement robust defensive measures. For 17 years, Bart has served as a Black Hat NOC Lead, overseeing technical operations in one of the world’s most hostile environments. He is responsible for building and managing the Security Operations Center (SOC) from the ground up for global events. Bart manages the entire SOC lifecycle, from infrastructure design and vendor integration to real time incident response and threat hunting under extreme pressure. A former DEF CON Goon of 12 years, Bart is a frequent speaker and committed contributor to the security community. He is recognized for his practical, hands on approach to operationalizing security and solving complex defensive challenges.
