Evan "Shortrange" Cook is a passionate teacher dedicated to "bringing RFID to the people." A multi-time CTF champion on both local and national stages, Evan has trained hundreds of hackers—from university students to special operators—in the art of cyber-physical exploitation. To lower the barrier for beginning breachers, he created and open-sourced OpenDoorSim: the world's friendliest access control lab. Through high-energy workshops and open-source projects, Shortrange lives where the digital and physical worlds collide, helping build a global community of security enthusiasts.
